I am just not getting around to posting it.

An interesting commentary
Before you buy your next car - A simple reminder from a few years ago.
Especially since Ford and GM are struggling.
You might find this of interest:
CNN Headline News did a short news listing regarding Ford and GM's contributions to the relief and recovery efforts in New York and Washington.

Whenever the time may be for you to purchase or lease a new vehicle, keep this information in mind. You might want to give more consideration to a car manufactured by an American-owned and/or American based company. Apart from Hyundai and Volkswagen, the foreign car companies contributed nothing at all to the citizens of the United States. It's OK for these companies to take money out of this country, but it is apparently not acceptable to return some in a time of crisis. I believe we should not forget things like this. Say thank you in a way that gets their at tention.

Now for my personal rant!
All of the above being true, let's also remember the recent many Hurricane relief efforts, and the many other disaster relief efforts that General Motors Corporation, Ford Motor Company, and Chrysler Corporation have provided over the last 50 years. How about the college funding of underprivileged youth, or the holiday support for families in the many communities around the country. How about UNCF, JDRF, Lighthouse, etc, etc, etc. I dare say that the number will be well into the Billions of dollars. The American public, our senators, and congresspeople are treating General Motors Corporation, Ford Motor Company, and Chrysler Corporation much like the rest of the globe treats The United States of America. We have always been there with our helping hand held out, looking to help, looking to share our good fortune. But, when we ask for help in return, what do we get? We get the door slammed in our faces. We are now considered the scourge of the nation, much like the good old USA is considered the scourge of the globe. We (our government) bails out a group irresponsible individuals that had visibly stolen money from the public, with a $700 Billion gift, without consequence, but wants to take out their frustration on the very industry that helped build the nation economy by raising the national standard of living. These congress people want to know why we have corporate jets, well it's probably partially because they never have to pay for anything as they accepts gifts and gratuities to take care of their personal and family needs. Someone has to "grease their palms" just to get them to look at anything. I ask, could they themselves stand up to the scrutiny of their investigation , or their publically stated expectations? They all have motives that selfishly protect their personal best interests. Our collective mistake was waiting until AFTER the elections to move on this. They are all secure for the next 2-4 years and don't feel the need to look after the long term health of OUR country. Anyway, I've said enough. Thanks for listening to my rant. Have a GREAT Day! BUY AMERICAN, and support the United States of America.
