Scream 2008 and Heath
I was lurkin around and checking out some blogs that I am suscribed to and I saw one from my cousin. She was talking about remakes of older movies and about the scream awards that where hosted. I left her a comment about the remake thing, me agreeing with older movies should not be remade unless it's the original person who came up with or someone, like Rob Zombie, adding to the old story to make it better... Like more understanding and delbing deeper into the mind of one such Michael Myers... Anyway on to what I was going to talk about...

I, personaly, am very happy that The Dark Knight got what it did. I went to see the movie the night of it's release and I was very very impressed with the movie. I am a huge Batman fan and Joker has always been my favorit bad guy *Jack N. as joker in the 90's movies was just sssoooo awesome.*
Anyway, some would say that it would not of done as well if Heath had not of met such a tradgic end and while that might or might not be true, that does not matter to me. I would have still wanted to of seen it. I saw the previews before I heard about Heaths passing and wanted to see it. I wanted to know if he could pull off one of the greatest villans of all time.
I was very very happy with his version of my favorite villan and felt that he really brought something new to the table with this go around. While the movies of the 90's was more comic book the 2000 movies are proving to provide a much darker and mature air that appeals to us that grew up in the 90s watching these movies. Hearing that a video tribute was also done for Heath, presented by Gary Oldman, just added on to the thrill.
Heath should be reconized and remembered for not only being a very talented young actor but also a father, a friend and someone's son. When two worlds collide like that there is never any telling of what might happen and in his case of doing so much so soon he just coud not handle it I guess. None the less, the brightest of the stars are always the first to burn out. Such is a sad tail of many before him and will be after him in more than just film, but in music as well.
That my dears is another topic and time all together. I shale leave you now with these thoughts and bid you all a goodnight...
ps. anyone want a cat? I have three kittens in need of a loving home.
